Natlee Kenoyer

American author. She has written a few non fictional equine works, including books on Western horses and gymkhana games and interestingly, one on the fire horses which worked in San Francisco helping to put out fires. She also penned a short fictional series about two financially challenged kids and their horses. The first book was co-authored by popular equine writer Rutherford Montgomery

Ms. Kenoyer was president of the Western Writers of America, and her book
The Western Horse won their 1962 Spur Award for Best Juvenile.

Ms. Kenoyer was also a horse trainer as well as a writer, although I am unfortunately unable to find more information about this side of her life at present.

Claudia and Dennis Series:
